All About Our Accredited HVAC Program

  • Step 1: Submit HVAC Program Interest Form.

    Step 2: Once the form is submitted, we will call you to schedule a date & time for you to come into our office to take a basic Math & English pre-assessment.

    Step 3: Once you take the pre-assessment, all you need to do is make a payment and then you are officially enrolled in the program.

  • In our comprehensive training program, you will learn essential skills and knowledge in various areas of HVAC such as

    • HVACR Safety and Code Training including PPE, Hazardous Material Handling, & OHSA regulation
    • Installation, Maintenance, & Repair of HVACR Systems
    • Mathematics Applied to HVACR
    • Refrigeration cycles, compressors, evaporators, condensers, metering devices, and system controls.
    • Modern refrigerants, proper handling procedures, and lubrication systems.
    • Hands-on training with the tools, materials, and diagnostic techniques used daily by professional HVACR technicians.
    • Communication & Soft Skills Developement

  • Upon graduating from our program, you will receive two valuable certifications:

    1.) PHCC Certificate for Pre-Apprenticeship Program, which demonstrates your foundational skills and knowledge in the trade.

    2.) GUTTS Certificate, accredited by DPOR, which grants you 72 hours towards your journeyman license, helping you advance your career in the field.

    3.) EPA Section 608 Certification

  • Yes, GUTTS will assist you in finding your first job after graduation. We have found employment for 75% of our graduates within the first 30 days of completing our program.

    • We will build you a resume and submit it to our employer partners and job openings
    • Schedule interviews for you
    • Provide guidance on different career paths,
    • Perform mock interviews to prepare you for the real thing. We have found employment for 75% of our graduates within the first 30 days of completing our program.

  • No, prior experience or plumbing knowledge is needed

  • Week 1 classes are on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

    Week 2 - Week 4 classes are Monday - Friday frpm 4:00 to 8:00 PM

    The Program takes 4 weeks to complete

  • The Cost of Tuition is $6,000. GUTTS financing option is available to prospective GUTTS students through TruEnergy Credit Union

  • Yes, lunch breaks are taken for 30 minutes anywhere between 11:00am & 12:30pm.

  • If you miss a day, you will be required to make it up. Just let our team know!
